§ 2-73. Finance officer.

  • It shall be the duty of the finance officer:

    (1)

    To assist in the preparation of the annual audit;

    (2)

    To submit to council an annual report on the finances and administrative activities of the town as of the end of the fiscal year;

    (3)

    To sign and pre-audit all checks, drafts, contracts, purchase orders, and other documents obligating town funds;

    (4)

    To manage investments;

    (5)

    To attend all council meetings;

    (6)

    To submit to the council a monthly report on the finances and administrative activities of the town; and

    (7)

    To perform such other duties as may be required or authorized by the council.
