§ 2-151. Boards and committees.

  • (a)

    The following boards and committees have been established by the town:

    (1)

    The planning board, the responsibilities and duties of which are set forth in chapter 38, pertaining to planning.

    (2)

    The board of adjustment, the responsibilities and duties of which are set forth in chapter 58, the town zoning ordinance.

    (3)

    The historic preservation commission, whose responsibilities and duties are set forth in chapter 26, pertaining to historical preservation.

    (4)

    The parks and recreation advisory board.

    (5)

    The downtown development committee.

    (6)

    The public safety advisory committee

    (b)

    The council may establish and appoint members to additional boards and commissions to carry out the work of the town when necessary. This power shall be exercised by the council when it has not been previously delegated to the mayor.
